Arbor Post Acute took care of my mom when she was diagnosed with dementia and stage 4 cancer. She was there long term for over 2 years. The care they provided my mom was excellent. For 2 years, I consistently got check in calls about how she was doing in between our monthly visits and there was never any issue with her care. The nurses were overwhelmingly caring and pleasantly helpful. Whenever we had a concern, they took our concerns very seriously and followed up with us. We visited regularly and every single time, we were greeted with warm smiles by the staff. My mom loved to introduce us to the staff and so we met all of the staff that interacted with our mom and they all would be delighted to meet us and engage with our mom. Because we were 3 hours away from the facility, it was a great comfort to know that she had angels taking care of her when we were not there. Arbor Post Acute administrative staff is great as well. When we had an issue with coverage, they were extremely patient while I reapplied for coverage and they were very supportive during the process, affirming that they would keep taking great care of her as long as she was there. Even towards the end, my mom would remark: “You know, I am really loved here. They really do love me here.” and we saw proof of this every visit. The team at Arbor is excellent. Me and my family will forever hold a special place in our hearts for the wonderful people we met at Arbor.
Terry is our cleaning lady for station three and maybe more I just don’t know cause I’m on station three. Terry goes above and beyond in so many ways first off she cheers everybody up. Terry also is so thorough. I mean even the windowsills and the AC. Terry is also super friendly. I hear her in the hallways continuously greeting people asking if she can help in anyway. Everything is so spic and span by the time she leaves and it’s always with her special touch of friendliness. I have been here for 2+ months and the whole staff is very nice. There are a few that go above and beyond and I think that’s so important and that is why I gave Terry five stars. Because she is extra, she does go the extra mile and she does take pride and where she works. That’s important. Robin Fernandes Somers.

Kelsie T I am wanting to leave a review for I met her within the first week I was here and she is always been to the point, tells it like it is and doesn’t sugarcoat things that is a great trait in anybody. I know most of the patients in here may be dementia and other things going on, but for someone like me that is just broken every bone in her body just about lol. I do not need someone talking to me like I have dementia lol. She is always a breath of fresh air and brings me coffee or a mocha in the mornings when my husband isn’t coming and I need a cup of coffee. She encourages me to do better and try more to want to get stronger and I appreciate that right now especially when I’m frustrated. She is the type of person I would want as a friend in life because she always gives me spiritual thoughts when I need them and especially right now when I’m so frustrated with everything and just wanna give up. Arbor is lucky to have someone like her, it takes all kinds to make a facility work you need the ones that are sweet and will tell you what you want to hear just to lift you up, you need the ones like Kelsie that tells you like it is for a person like me, but still knows how to lift me up and make me laugh and that for me is the most important. I finally figured out how to do this so I will be doing this on multiple ones before I leave which I hope as soon cause I need to get home lol. Kelsie truly cares for each and everyone of the patients now I know I’m only able to see a few of them right around me, but with some of them that don’t have dementia they have said and agreed with me that she is amazing. She literally brings coffee to so money in the morning so that they can feel revived. Sincerely, Robin Fernandes Somers. Room 304B

I want to give a going above and beyond toJuliana O. I have been here for a little over two months rehabilitating after a car accident and even when she’s busy and especially when she’s noticing that I’m not just right. Julie always make sure that I’m not feeling depressed. She is excellent at her job. She’s good at making sure the bed pan is always put in correctly, which is important to me because I’m using my own sheets because I’m allergic to the soaps being used here she not only helps for the day-to-day things that all of us may need here, but she always goes above and beyond to keep us all because I’ve seen how she works with everybody around me she encourages us and helps us to do more things for ourselves and she works well with all the nurses I can tell they all respect and appreciate all she does for them as well. So please know you have an excellent person working for your team. She is definitely a team player. Sincerely, Robin Fernandez Somers. Rm 304b

My Mom Phyllis Cantwell was in and out of Arbor last year, first short term rehabilitation and then finally long term care until she past away. Our entire family’s experience with the care facility was excellent – the facility is clean, well cared for, food service is excellent; and the staff is exemplary! Mom was truly cared for – Michelle, Nicole, Jessica Y, Marlene just to name a few – thank you!

My mom has been at Arbor Post Accute for several years now. She’s currently their on a long term stay due to a medical condition that limits her to do certain things. My experience with this facility has been amazing. The staff and everyone that works with my mom have been very respectful and polite. They work hard to get what mom needs. The staff there always keeps me informed of any updates on my mom’s medical condition or any changes in medications that she needs. I’m very pleased that there able to accommodate my mom with spanish speaking translators when she needs to convey something or has questions. One other thing I would like to say is that Michelle and Marlene in social services have been such great help to me and my mom. I work long hours at my job and im not always available to make the care conferences in person. So they have made it possible to have over the phone conference with them which makes it much easier for me. Overall I would like to thank everyone at Arbor for there hard work and recommend this facility to others.

After an unfortunate accident my mom and her partner wound up in Arbor Post. She was there for some time and became close with many of the patients and some staff, especially Michelle, the social services representative. Mom would say they were like family. The youngest of us kids offered her to come live but she wouldn’t consider it without her Gary. Gary recently passed so she decided it was time. She misses her friends and the care she received at Arbor, especially the care. The living situation has not been what she or my sister expected. We’re afraid that taking her out of there may have been the wrong decision. With my sister working long hours and small grandchildren climbing on her it seems it’s detrimental to her health. She is praying and trying to find a way to go back. Ultimately, she liked it there and felt safe and welcome. That really says a lot to us. We may have thought it was best taking her “home” but home to her had become Arbor Post. We’re praying she could be welcomed back.

My mom was put in Arbor Post Facility after an unfortunate situation. I live in another state and was not able to visit regularly but when I would call she would tell me how sweet the staff was and that she considered some of them to be like family, especially Michelle, the social services representative. Mom was in there with her husband but he recently passed way. So we decided it was time to be with family so she wouldn’t feel alone. Well, it’s not what she was expecting and she is very homesick for the people in the facility and the care she was getting. My sister works a lot and is not able to pride the level of care she obviously needs. We were just not aware what her needs were. We are hoping to get her back there because, ultimately, that is where she wants and needs to be. Ultimately, we want her to be cared for and to be healthy and content in her late years. I’d like to thank the team at Arbor Post Acute for the care they took of our father. They were always kind with him and helped him to feel as though he was part of a family – this was so important to him – especially at a time that was so terribly difficult for him. Big call-out to Ariceli, Nicole, Marlene, Michelle, Christina, Gerry, Trey, Bill, Shannon, Michael, Sherry, Vickie, and anyone else I’m missing for your love and attention. He thought the world of you all – Renee P.

We had such a nice experience with your staff there at the facility. We were in predicament where we were limited on options for my mother a place to get care. Michelle, Marlene, and Nicole in your social service department were so helpful and made us feel comfortable and eased our minds. Mindi in the physical therapy department was also instrumental in the care of our mother and we appreciate her very much along with the entire staff. Thank you for all you have done for us..

I have had an absolutely wonderful experience with all of the staff and nursing team at Arbor. Michael was so upbeat and really has a way of lifting peoples spirits and making them feel comfortable in the facility. It is truly a welcoming environment that provided great communication and care for my grandmother. The therapy team was absolutely the most encouraging and they spent time expressing the importance of participation. The fact that they accept many different insurances was a plus as well! The beautiful location is surrounded by trees and the building is kept very clean which makes it feel like a calming, healing space. I highly recommend this skilled nursing facility for yours or your loved ones rehabilitation needs.

My husband was at Arbor for 18 days. From the first day to the last the care was wonderful. When I first walked in I was surprised to see how clean everything was. There was no urine odor that so many facilities have, the reception room is nicely decorated and has the most amazing aquariums! The staff was caring and professional. The nurses, PT and CNAs were so good with him (and he is not an easy patient). The PT crew was so helpful. For example: When I mentioned there were 3 steps he would have to climb at home, they sprung into action! Within a couple of minutes, they were working with him on steps! They set up a time to work with the family so we could help him. The social services staff were responsive and kept us posted. They went out of their way to be sure he would get the equipment and services he needed once we went home. I felt free to stop them in the hall if I had a question.

I stayed at Arbor Post acute for a month and a half. The staff for the most part is amazing the activities girls are always on top of things and never say no they always find a way to get you what you need. Amy and OT was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond what she had to do she not only did my therapy but she also came in and helped me get to the shower she gave me advice anything I needed she was on top of it found a way to take care of it. The CNAs especially Mario angel rea Al they were so amazing attended to every need they were there usually within minutes of you turning on your light. The only down part was a lot of times a lot of the CNAs took a very long time to answer a call light. There was one time I waited an hour and 15 minutes for somebody to come and help with what I needed. The nurses Stephanie Jeremy and a few others were outstanding they knew their job well and they did it well and they did it with a great bedside manner. There social services department is one of the best that I’ve seen. Nicole and Michelle were the ones that I worked with most closely and at the time I didn’t have anywhere to be released to. They were diligently with me to make sure that I had somewhere to go and then I had assistance and they also helped me get outside assistance and Michelle went above and beyond she was more than just a social worker she became a friend. A lot of these people I will remember for a very long time they’ll always be a part of my life and I can’t say enough good things about our Arbor Post acute. I also forgot to include Sierra the CNA and Jenny they were also some of the CNAs that were always on top of things and always knew what you needed before you even needed it. If you ever need to go to skilled nursing I would absolutely recommend Arbor Post acute.

Social Services was very helpful and supportive when my grandfather was there. They helped me get my grandfather into a memory care unit quickly. They are all so kind and helpful. They even called afterwards to follow up and see how he was doing! The facility is also very clean and inviting. I was always greeted with kindness and smiles from all of the staff.
