I went to pick up my grandma and Nicole in social services was so sweet, she made the discharge so smooth and so did michelle and marleen! They made me and my grandma feel so comfortable, and appreciated. Great experience!

We had such a nice experience with your staff there at the facility. We were in predicament where we were limited on options for my mother a place to get care. Michelle, Marlene, and Nicole in your social service department were so helpful and made us feel comfortable and eased our minds. When my relative was here I was so blessed to meet the social services team Nicole, Marlene and Michele are so amazing and make the discharge so easy. They made my family members discharge so great. I have had an absolutely wonderful experience with all of the staff and nursing team at Arbor. Michael was so upbeat and really has a way of lifting peoples spirits and making them feel comfortable in the facility. It is truly a welcoming environment that provided great communication and care for my grandmother. The therapy team was absolutely the most encouraging and they spent time expressing the importance of participation. The fact that they accept many different insurances was a plus as well! The beautiful location is surrounded by trees and the building is kept very clean which makes it feel like a calming, healing space. I highly recommend this skilled nursing facility for yours or your loved ones rehabilitation needs.

Arbor Post Acute is an awesome Rehab Nursing Home here in Chico. I highly recommend them for post hospital stays looking for Therapies or wound care support.

My husband was at Arbor for 18 days. From the first day to the last the care was wonderful. When I first walked in I was surprised to see how clean everything was. There was no urine odor that so many facilities have, the reception room is nicely decorated and has the most amazing aquariums! The staff was caring and professional. The nurses, PT and CNAs were so good with him (and he is not an easy patient). The PT crew was so helpful. For example: When I mentioned there were 3 steps he would have to climb at home, they sprung into action! Within a couple of minutes, they were working with him on steps! They set up a time to work with the family so we could help him. The social services staff were responsive and kept us posted. They went out of their way to be sure he would get the equipment and services he needed once we went home. I felt free to stop them in the hall if I had a question.

I stayed at Arbor Post acute for a month and a half. The staff for the most part is amazing the activities girls are always on top of things and never say no they always find a way to get you what you need. Amy and OT was absolutely amazing she went above and beyond what she had to do she not only did my therapy but she also came in and helped me get to the shower she gave me advice anything I needed she was on top of it found a way to take care of it. The CNAs especially Mario angel rea Al they were so amazing attended to every need they were there usually within minutes of you turning on your light. The only down part was a lot of times a lot of the CNAs took a very long time to answer a call light. There was one time I waited an hour and 15 minutes for somebody to come and help with what I needed. The nurses Stephanie Jeremy and a few others were outstanding they knew their job well and they did it well and they did it with a great bedside manner. There social services department is one of the best that I’ve seen. Nicole and Michelle were the ones that I worked with most closely and at the time I didn’t have anywhere to be released to. They were diligently with me to make sure that I had somewhere to go and then I had assistance and they also helped me get outside assistance and Michelle went above and beyond she was more than just a social worker she became a friend. A lot of these people I will remember for a very long time they’ll always be a part of my life and I can’t say enough good things about our Arbor Post acute. I also forgot to include Sierra the CNA and Jenny they were also some of the CNAs that were always on top of things and always knew what you needed before you even needed it. If you ever need to go to skilled nursing I would absolutely recommend Arbor Post acute.

Social Services was very helpful and supportive when my grandfather was there. They helped me get my grandfather into a memory care unit quickly. They are all so kind and helpful. They even called afterwards to follow up and see how he was doing! The facility is also very clean and inviting. I was always greeted with kindness and smiles from all of the staff.

This is a very welcoming facility with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The activities department offers a variety of events to keep the residents and staff engaged. They are greatly involved with the community with yearly events such as Easter Egg hunts, Trunk or Treat, and Craft Fairs.

My brother stayed here briefly after breaking both of his ankles before returning home. The nursing staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and the facility was always clean. The PT crew was awesome; great cheerleaders who kept his spirits up, and he really loved the fun activities and the salon in the building.The welcome room smelled amazing and felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food was the one downside. Most of the time it arrived cold, sometimes tasted old, and he often couldn’t eat it because it just wasn’t appetizing.

I had a really great experience at Arbor. My mom went there for a month after a hip surgery when she needed a little more care than I could provide. Every staff member she worked with was very helpful and kind. My mom also raved about the food. In fact, I took a photo of the monthly menu to give myself ideas for dinner. 🙂 Thank you to all of the staff members for working so hard.

I’ve visited multiple people under care at Arbor and they were all well taken care of. The building is very clean and people under their care seem content. I love the outdoor areas they have for those who want to soak up some sunshine while reading the paper. I especially recommend Arbor for wound care needs.

I originally planned on writing a review once my grandmother was discharged from Arbor but the more I visit the more impressed I am and feel I should share our experience while she’s still currently there. My grandmother was placed here after a broken hip surgery and also needs wound care. As most families are when a loved one is sent to places like these, we were very nervous. Our family takes turns spending hours a day with her and I must say, I have never felt more welcome and more comfortable in any facility I have ever visited. The staff are incredibly professional with great attitudes. They somehow have manage to get my very timid and antisocial grandmother who is typically in a great deal of pain, to laugh, socialize and more importantly feel safe in the environment she’s in. She has made many friends with the staff and has nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Each time I or another family member visits, they are super accommodating and eager to give us updates. It’s amazing to see how they can boost her mood and give her the motivation to work hard with the goal of coming home. They even treat my grandfather who visits her daily like he’s a special guest, offering him complementary meals so he can eat with his wife making them feel at home as much as possible. The facility itself is very well maintained and extremely clean. The staff are just on top of everything. There is not one thing I can say that is negative about this place so far. I thought it was important to leave an honest good review because I know how difficult it can be to trust a place to our vulnerable loved ones. My family and I are so incredibly grateful for Arbor Post Acute and every single member of the staff, from the nurses and CNA’s to the housekeepers and maintenance professionals, this place is a great place to get well. It’s such a relief to know our sweet grandmother is getting the best care possible. Thank you Arbor!!!

There are not enough positive words to describe the great care I’m receiving at Arbor Post Acute! I’ve not been in a skilled nursing facility and had no idea what to expect. The nurses are all emphatic, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Here are some of the over-the-top ones on Section 3: Rachel, Olivia, Gabi, Kelsie, Jenny, Sarah, Julie, George, Trey, Marina and Hakey. I hope I’m not forgetting any of the exceptional nurses. Terry, in housekeeping, is wonderful and you can tell she cares about lot about her job. The Social Workers are extremely helpful getting me settled into my changes. PT/OT are wonderful and working with me. The Administration is attentive and caring. Arbor is an excellent place to get fixed up! If I ever need this type care again, I won’t hesitate coming to Arbor Post Acute!!
