Reviews
Hear directly from our residents and their families about the care they receive. At Arbor Post Acute, you can trust that your well-being is in the hands of a compassionate team committed to providing safe, high-quality support every step of the way.
After an unfortunate accident my mom and her partner wound up in Arbor Post. She was there for some time and became close with many of the patients and some staff, especially Michelle, the social services representative. Mom would say they were like family. The youngest of us kids offered her to come live but she wouldn’t consider it without her Gary. Gary recently passed so she decided it was time. She misses her friends and the care she received at Arbor, especially the care. The living situation has not been what she or my sister expected. We’re afraid that taking her out of there may have been the wrong decision. With my sister working long hours and small grandchildren climbing on her it seems it’s detrimental to her health. She is praying and trying to find a way to go back. Ultimately, she liked it there and felt safe and welcome. That really says a lot to us. We may have thought it was best taking her “home” but home to her had become Arbor Post. We’re praying she could be welcomed back.
My mom was put in Arbor Post Facility after an unfortunate situation. I live in another state and was not able to visit regularly but when I would call she would tell me how sweet the staff was and that she considered some of them to be like family, especially Michelle, the social services representative. Mom was in there with her husband but he recently passed way. So we decided it was time to be with family so she wouldn’t feel alone. Well, it’s not what she was expecting and she is very homesick for the people in the facility and the care she was getting. My sister works a lot and is not able to pride the level of care she obviously needs. We were just not aware what her needs were. We are hoping to get her back there because, ultimately, that is where she wants and needs to be. Ultimately, we want her to be cared for and to be healthy and content in her late years. I’d like to thank the team at Arbor Post Acute for the care they took of our father. They were always kind with him and helped him to feel as though he was part of a family – this was so important to him – especially at a time that was so terribly difficult for him. Big call-out to Ariceli, Nicole, Marlene, Michelle, Christina, Gerry, Trey, Bill, Shannon, Michael, Sherry, Vickie, and anyone else I’m missing for your love and attention. He thought the world of you all – Renee P.
